Virtual Filmi 21

FILMI is an annual Toronto film festival showcasing the best in South Asian cinema from Canada and the world.

Due to COVID-19 and the closure of all theatre’s in Toronto Filmi will be held virtually.

FILMI will celebrate its 21st anniversary with a full schedule of screenings and industry workshops December 19th-20th, 2020.

During these tough times we continue our commitment to the vision of Filmi which is to promote, discover and celebrate cinematic endeavours by talented South Asian filmmakers, and highlight works with South Asian themes and artists that can be brought to a mainstream audience.
