Synopsis:

Nayla hosts a jazz radio show at her university. One day, a man from her past asks her to appear on the show to talk about the political situation in their home country. She refuses his request, but this choice will have consequences.

Kartik Singh loves telling stories of underdogs and unlikely heroes.  He brings to his work the perspective of a triple culture.  Born in the United States to Indian Sikh parents, he has spent half his life in Paris, where he earned an MFA from the Sorbonne.
