Wrestling with the challenges of adulthood, Ann’s subconscious becomes a gateway to her past, where vivid dreams and surreal encounters lead to heartfelt conversations with her younger self, reliving the innocence and wonder of her formative years.
As Ann delves further into these encounters, she unravels hidden truths about her past and the pivotal moments shaping her present self. These dialogues serve as a therapeutic release, enabling Ann to confront unresolved emotions and heal the scars of her history.
With dreamlike visuals and a moving score, “Always Here” explores the potency of self-reflection, self-compassion, and the enduring connection between our current selves and the children we once were. This short film offers a touching exploration of the healing potential within our subconscious minds, providing hope and closure for those grappling with their inner demons.
