Synopsis:
Inspired by the barber shop sequence from Eddie Murphy’s ‘Coming to America’. ‘Balbir the Barber‘ is about a Punjabi Sikh Sardar who opens a barber shop. Balbir, accompanied by his two best friends, debate about various topics ranging from the greatest Punjabi singer to the greatest wrestler of all-time. The ‘Turban in the Barber Shop’ is addressed when one of Balbir’s customers is a young Sikh male seeking a haircut for the very first time.
